It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of the HSBC Revolution Card. Having received a reset in mid 2020, which saw 4mpd on a wide range of bonus categories on online/ contactless transactions in travel, dining and shopping. Not only that, the annual fee was permanently removed, and cardholders get a free copy of The Entertainer which gets you fantastic food deals.

If you have yet to get one, the HSBC Revolution has just launched a new sign-up offer which runs from now till 30 April 2021, with an option to get a $200 Lazada Voucher or $180 Cashback!

In order to qualify for the S$200 Lazada voucher or S$180 cashback, one will have to spend a minimum of S$800 by the end of the following month of your card approval date.

For example, if your card account opening date is 10 January 2021, you will have until 28 February 2021 to generate this spend.

To get the cashback, do note that you will have to be a new-to-card customer, which means that you do not currently hold any existing HSBC Credit Cards as a principal cardholder while also not cancelling one in the last 12 months.

In addition, eligible applicants who complete and submit a card application online between 01 January and 30 April 2021 with MyInfo via SingPass will receive an additional SGD 20 Lazada and RedMart Vouchers (on top of the welcome bonus), I highly recommend this since its fuss free!

Existing card holders of HSBC yet to obtain a Revolution Card are only eligible for a $30 cashback upon hitting the minimum spend of $800.

A superb offer to tap on if you have yet to pick up one of the best cards to rack up miles. HSBC partners with Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific, and Krisflyer and Asia Miles are having promotions for bonus miles if you transfer your points into their frequent flyer programme till the 16 January and 31 January respectively. This offer probably is too early if you are a new cardholder, but remember that this bonus miles promotion is to all Singapore banks and not just to HSBC. So get transferring!
