Short on Hilton points? Fret not, Hilton is back with its regular points bonus; you can get up to 320k points by tapping on this promotion, a tally more than sufficient to spend a week at any of Hilton’s finest resorts worldwide.
Typically, you can buy a maximum of 80,000 points per year pre-bonus, with each Hilton point costing you 1 US cent.
However, from now till 11 May 2021, you’ll receive 100% bonus points for purchasing points, beginning at 10,000 points. You will thus max out at buying up to 160,000 points, receiving a total of 320,000 points at 0.5 US cents, with a total cost of US$1600.
The best way to get outsized value for your Hilton points will be to redeem them for stays, and you will do no better than at resorts like the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. Furthermore, whenever you book five consecutive Hilton award nights, the fifth night comes free!
An average night costs around US$625 before taxes, so for 5 nights, you will be looking at a total outlay of over US$3000. However, if you are using points, you can score 5 nights at around US$1800, since you will just require 360k points for the 5 nights! Of course, that’s assuming you do have some points in your balance, since you can only buy 320k points at one go.
As travel opens up, this may be a good opportunity to top up your Hilton points balance as a prelude of the upcoming summer holidays with your loved ones. The experience may differ because of COVID, but nothing beats the feeling of buzzing off to some place new!
I’ve had my fair share of amazing Hilton stays the past few years, and I can’t wait to redeem my Hilton points when we are able to travel again. Top of my list for now include the Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort and the Conrad Dubai, stays which I had to reschedule over the past 12 months.
You do have some time to consider whether you should jump in on this promotion, just remember to lock in your purchase before May 11!
